Educational and scientific activities of the department

Object of professional activity

The object of the graduate’s professional activity is pre-school institutions, secondary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums, specialized and educational institutions, educational institutions and technical schools, research institutes and centers, sports and creative organizations, medical institutions, vocational training and career guidance centers, and National social services, employment centers, research centers of public opinion and political technologies, industrial enterprises and business organizations.

Types of professional activity

  • Management-production (the relation “subject-subject”);
  • Project (modeling of primary school);
  • Research (modeling and implementation of any research organization, organization, research projects);
  • Education (teacher of pedagogy and psychology, teacher-psychologist in education, training and retraining).

The main directions of the scientific work of the department are:

Personality. Self-realization of personality in various spheres of life.

The research activity of the department is carried out in the following areas:

  • Attitude and self-awareness of the individual;

  • psychology of Personality;

Exchange with foreign scientists for academic mobility

Boyko Georgiev Ganchevsky, professor of S.Kliment Ohridski University of Sofiya, was invited to the program of academic mobility, he delivered a lecture on the topic “Psychodynamics of Criminal Behavior” and conducted an online seminar on the topic “Extreme Situations in the Modern world “

An online conference was held on the theme “Development of competencies using social networks” for undergraduates of 1,2 courses with the participation of PhD Adam-Jagiello-Rusilowski from Gdańsk University (Poland)

Accreditation

Specialties 5B010300-Pedagogy and Psychology (2014), 5B050300-Psychology (2016) were successfully accredited by an independent agency (NAAR) in accordance with the State Standard of Education.

In the 2016-2017 academic year, according to the results of the analysis of the agency “Independent Accreditation and Rating”, the specialty 5B050300-Psychology took the third place among 14 universities, the specialty 6M010300-Pedagogy and psychology (Master) was awarded the 7th place among 20 universities.
